Artisans
and designers David & Claudia Alcala are a husband and wife team whose vision, inspiration, and
creative collaboration are shared and reflected through the magical medium of fused art glass. “We
consider every handcrafted creation one-of-a-kind. All of our work are individual creations with
special attention given to each and every detail. David is the original creator and designer of
all Glass Tapestry works along with pendant designs. Claudia’s expertise is in the design and creations
of earrings and bracelet work.
David and Claudia own and operate two gallery/studios in Carmel and Pacific Grove located along the beautiful central coast of California.
Through the art of glass fusion, they are able to capture the harmony between color and light. “Our creative inspirations are constant and come from every direction, whether they are inspired by the color of the season’s change, or experiencing an awesome sunset over the ocean. It is all absorbed and transmitted through our creations. We take pride in our uniqueness, as we hope you will as well, whether displaying an Alcala creation in your home or office, or adorning one of our wearable pieces of art.
